What exactly is ChromaLuxe?

Thermal sublimation
Through thermal sublimation, the inks are infused into the specially treated coating of an aluminium panel. This process creates ChromaLuxe's characteristic colour intensity, visual depth and long-lasting durability.
The production process
How is a ChromaLuxe print created?
First, the image is printed on transfer paper using special sublimation inks. The transfer paper and aluminium plate are then placed together in a heated press.
Under high pressure and at a temperature of approximately 200°C, the inks become gaseous and penetrate into the specially treated coating of the plate.
During cooling, the colours are permanently fixed in this coating. The image does not sit on the surface as a fragile ink layer, but is essentially absorbed into the finish of the plate.
